Most everyone has a website now, some with online shopping others simply telling a story. Although our products are available online for purchase we also have a large amount of information and stories you might find worth reading and entertaining ! MysticKnotwork.com
The history of this family business, of the Mystic Bascule bridge, of the turks head knot... Our blog page, since 2015, has all sorts of entries about our products, Mystic, things to do in Mystic and surrounding areas, local restaurants, where to stay, the adventures of our giant wreath, photo shoots, new products, holiday ideas, all of our bracelets and so much more.
Jill has her own blog page focusing more on her other knotty projects, local news, photos, shop visitors usually dogs and seasonal happenings around town.
If weddings are in your future visit the wedding page filled with photos sent to us by all the brides and grooms who decorated their weddings with our nautical knots. Boutonnieres, key chain favors, monkey fist table card holders and wreath centerpieces to name a few.
The Mystic Knotwork YouTube page is full of our tutorials and interesting video creations by Jill of all the happenings here in Mystic and the knot shop. Many of the videos include all the fabulous and famous yachts and ships that cruise in and out of Mystic, how to make a sailor bracelet, a macramé owl, a mermaid tail keychain, a Celtic heart necklace, a dragonfly, a gnome ornament, how to put on our wrap bracelet and you guessed it so much more. I do have to include a link to one of my favorites by Jill, 'What You Need to See and Do in Downtown Mystic Ct'. Children will love this!
Once on the site, look for the navy blue menu at the top of the home page. 'Visit' takes you to info about our two shops in Mystic, 'About Us' and our 'Live Cam'. The live cam is located on the lighthouse of our retail shop and has views of the flagpole intersection and the bridge. A good way to check the weather if you are in town.
The 'Learn' link is where it is all happening.
Enjoy browsing the site! But if you feel like buying something please do!
