We took some days off last week and were amazed at the daffodil plantings we stumbled across. Someone was very busy. One plot even had a sign that claimed 196,773 were planted! And they were planted in rows with many walking paths.
This is just a small selection of what we saw. Our travels took us from Mystic, to Block Island to Newport and back. Pink magnolias were everywhere as well as tulips and grape hyacinth. It's time to get out!
As we get closer to summer and warmer weather, the Mystic area will continue to bloom. There are so many nice walks in Mystic, Stonington and surrounding areas. Hopefully you can visit us in Mystic this summer! Check out last year's blog of summer flowers in Mystic.
