Giant Macramé Star By Jill For Starry Lights Art Installation
This was a daunting task for Jill but no matter what she is challenged with she pulls through! She created this star for Starry Lights, an Illuminated Star Walk. This is a temporary, two-state, magical holiday art installation making downtown Westerly-Pawcatuck merry and a must do activity this season. It's free and a spectacular display of lights and stars. You will see large-scale art installations created by CT and RI artists exploring a variety of recycled materials and taking advantage of two parks and a reflective pond. You will stroll the Walk of Wonder, a twinkling light trail from Wilcox Park in Westerly to Donahue Park in Pawcatuck. In addition large sculptures will be placed in both parks. Donations are being accepted by the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce to support this project.
