It's almost time! We're working hard to get our second retail location open for business. It will only be a few more days, so keep an eye on our Facebook page for the announcement. The shop is located at 2-4 Holmes St. in Downtown Mystic, in the lighthouse building near the Liberty Flag Pole at the corner of East Main St.
The new store will be focused on retail while our Cottrell St. location will be our workshop. The Holmes St. shop will have all the beautiful nautical items that you expect from us in a spacious, sunny location. Artisans will be tying knots at both locations and both will be open to the public.
Matt built these custom racks to hold the 18 colors of rope that we use for sailor bracelets.
This beautiful frame, made by Matt's grandfather Alton Beaudoin, takes a place of honor on the wall in our new shop. The frame is made of thousands of tiny knots which Alton tied over a period of years. The intricate knotwork can only truly be appreciated in person!
Matt custom made these rope-trimmed shelves which sit in front of the window.
We've got new dog toys in navy and gray and the manila wall has a beautiful selection of our handmade doormats and other manila items.
Here's a peek inside the shop through the window. We have hundreds of sailor bracelets in stock and as always, you can have a custom bracelet made for you in any color combination that you like.
Have you always wondered what was inside the lighthouse? Us too! Here's a view up inside the lighthouse tower.
We'll be celebrating the Grand Opening on June 14th 7:00 - 9:00 pm. You're invited to celebrate with us, please RSVP. We'll keep the light on for you!
