One of my favorite Christmas traditions as an adult is the Lighted Boat Parade on the Mystic River the Saturday after Thanksgiving every year. Now that we have our shop right in front of the river, it makes that tradition even more enjoyable. We just step out onto the porch and watch the fun! I just downloaded the pictures and want to share my favorites.
The Snoopy boat was my favorite, complete with Woodstock!
Matt took this picture of them preparing Snoopy. Such a difference before the magic of the lights, music, and of course our favorite Beagle.
This was another of my favorites, from the Mystic Seaport.
Here is a shot down the river, so many boats!
The parade wouldn't be complete without the tug John Paul leading the way under the bridge.
Luckily these weren't needed, but I love it when they put the life rings out. The end to another fun evening on the Mystic River, but the start to another magical Christmas Season!
