Our shops in Mystic are open for Business by Sue Waterman

May 25, 2020 1 min read

May 20 we opened our workshops in Downtown Mystic under the safety guidelines of Connecticut. Hand sanitizer, masks and the 6 foot rule. We did a little rearranging of our knot tying spaces, and opened the windows and doors! Visitors are limited, if necessary simply wait outside in our comfy chairs, watch the water traffic on the river and we'll call you in.

Sunday, Jill donned her photographer hat and did some street photography while undoubtably walking Betsy Mongrel at the same time.

We all have been waiting for good weather! Many people were out getting fresh air and some sun. In the above picture you can see the patio umbrellas at the Engine Room restaurant, now open for take out, pick up and outside dining.

It was a big walk for Jill and Betsy as they ended up at the Mystic Seaport around the corner from downtown. The Seaport is open for outside activity, plenty to see!

Mystic River Park is pictured below, a wonderful place to social distance, eat some picnic take out and watch the boats go by. Our workshop is right across the street from the park. Look for the open flag, there may be some knot tyers out front too.
