    The Seaport Area

As you walk from Downtown Mystic to the Seaport you will see these fabulous life size creations. So creative and scary.

Well don't get too close, I swear I saw this one move. The Grim Reaper or?

What could be scarier than sailing around on your boat and coming across some giant crabs?
The south entrance to the Mystic Seaport has a welcome building where you can buy your tickets and enter the Seaport.
This amazing anglerfish sculpture in front of the Thompson Exhibition Building, is something else. It even lights up!

    Downtown Mystic

Welcome to the Whaler's Inn, right in the center of Downtown Mystic. A great spot to spend the night. The area is full of all types of shops and restaurants. Easy to walk around, get some shopping done. Our Holmes St. shop is across the street and the Cottrell St. shop across from the park.

    Whaler's Inn, always festive.

The pumpkin decorations are starting to appear in town. Willow Properties has a nice fall display.

Giant montauk daisy bush in full bloom near our Cottrell St. shop.

    Skeleton Ornament Mystic Knotwork
Jill made this macramé skeleton and posted a tutorial for it on YouTube. Super easy, a fun craft project for children too.

A few years ago our staff of knot tyers dressed for Halloween. Aimee posing with our nautical pumpkin patch, available in our two Mystic shops.

We have bracelets and key chains in all the seasonal colors.

While you are Downtown, the Mystic River Park has benches and a lot of grass to run around on. If it is warm enough, plant your blanket and chairs and have a picnic. Great views of the river and maybe a boat will go through the bridge.

    Olde Mistick Village

Find your parking spot, there is plenty in Olde Mystic Village. Through Oct. 31 the scarecrows competition will be visible. Scarecrows, created by the shop owners, are everywhere. This is a self contained colonial type village with many shops and restaurants. Have fun!
