For the last 4 years, when fall arrives, that means it is time for the American Made Summit. We love visiting NYC and seeing all our friends at the Martha Stewart headquarters. Here is our friend and mentor Hannah Milman opening the day, and what a great day it was!
This year we set up our wares in the curated American Made shop, as well as listened to all the panels and ate lots of delicious food.
Here is a picture of our set up on The Martha Blog. Make sure you scroll through all the pictures, especially if you love food. There is a certain level of expectation at a Martha Stewart event about the food, and she did not disappoint.
The Emerging Designer has a great summary of my favorite speaker of the day, Arianna Huffington. She had some great advice on taking care of yourself, something all entrepreneurs have trouble with, which is why I am writing this and not home cooking dinner!
Speaking of dinner, Emerel Lagasse was another of my favorite speakers, especially his story about being afraid to go in the ocean because the fish all know what he has done to them!
I will end this post with a picture of Matt knot working at the summit, something he does best.
