March in Pictures by Jill Beaudoin

March was such a busy month! It flew by and I didn't have time to put up any pictures, so here we go, a whole month at once.

March definitely came in like a lion and went out like a lamb. We started with some icy snowy weather.

We had some fun playing in the snow with Betsy Mongrel.

I love seeing snow on our floating home.

I dreamed about warmer days at the beach.

We tied some cool fenders that went home with happy customers. Here is a bearded fender that will grace the bow of Tuglet who spends time on the Mystic River.

We also made another fender that is heading to Florida.

I took lots of brightly colored pictures of knots, getting ready for Spring!

We made a trip to Portland for the New England Made Show, one of our favorite shows. We set up for the show and then did a little sight seeing.

We went to check out the Portland Head Light.

We also found a cool abandoned lobster shack that we had to stop and take pictures at. Does anyone know what these things are called?

We also celebrated Saint Patricks Day with lots of green knots, and then the following week watched the Mystic Irish Parade.

We had a gorgeous moon rise over the water.

We also started tying crosses for the upcoming Easter holiday while March went out like a lamb.
