Our sailor bracelets are actually one of the more basic designs in a family of knots called the turkshead. This turkshead is 5 leads by 9 bights, which makes it a wider style bracelet. Made with cotton cord, it is almost 2 inches wide. These are natural cotton and shrink when wet.

Stretch your bracelet over your hand and then shape it around your wrist to fit.

Our sailor bracelets are made with natural cotton cord that shrinks when wet. After getting wet a few times, your bracelet will tighten to a comfortable fit around your wrist. Once it shrinks, it may be difficult to slide over your hand to remove. If you prefer a looser fit, consider going up one size.
