    Black Nautical Snowman Ornament, made by our hands in Mystic, Connecticut. Black hat, black scarf, and a body built from sailor knots. He has the snowman's familiar black-and-white look, but his beret came from the knot shop rather than the hat shop.

    We stack and stitch three monkey fists together, then give him a Turk's head beret, a scarf, and cord for his nose and buttons. The bottom knot is tied around a ping-pong ball to help keep him light. Even Charlie Brown might find a branch for him.
